I bought this bike because it offers so many features for such a low price. That’s called value. The bike arrived on time and the assembly was simple with the user guide in hand and the required tools enclosed. You can buy a $2,500 bike and not get shock absorbers or fenders or a throttle. This bike has everything, as well as a chain guard not found on most other bikes. After assembly I noticed the disk was rubbing up against the front brake. It was kind of complicated to adjust based on research online, so I took the bike to my local bike store. They adjusted both disks just in case and now I feel safer riding the bike. Without me even asking, the vendor offered to pay for half the repair. They ended paying for the entire cost of the labor. They also refunded me the difference in price that occurred while my bike was in transit. The bike rides great and looks good. It’s powerful enough to meet my needs. If you live in a hilly area, look for a bike with a larger motor, though.I’m glad I found this bike and will be recommending this to other people.
I purchased this for my 70 year old active mom and it’s awesome. It too about an hour to fully assemble an configure while watching tv but was simple. The ride is awesome and easy to operate. The cruse controls are the nicest feature. The levels of peddle assist are wonderful, you can barely peddle and the bike does 95% of the work. It’s top speed on its highest setting is fast, very fast.I would definitely recommend this product if your looking for a good looking, well built electric bike. The price is just right and honestly I would have paid more for it now that I have it.
I was a little nervous buying this bike, as there were very few reviews when I bought it. But my wife wanted a lightweight e-bike with a step through frame, and I wanted to spend less than $600, so I decided to take the risk and order it.When it arrived, I was super impressed. The packaging was first-class. The fit and finish were really good. I loved the way the battery fits into the frame tube. It was straightforward to put together, and I like the way it rides.I did find one problem that didn't affect my use -- one of the screws for the water bottle mount had been cross-threaded during installation. We're not using a water bottle, so that doesn't bother me.The seat was a little hard for my wife's taste. We ended up going to a local store and purchased a super wide and super soft seat. It was easy to mount to the seat post, so no problem there.I really liked the adjustable handlebar stem. My wife wanted an upright riding position, so we raised the stem as high as we could. The throttle works a little different from my bike. It only accelerates the bike to the desired speed of the pedal assist mode, and sometimes (I'm not sure exactly when) it turns on a cruise control that allows you to ride at the PAS speed without pedalling. The electric assist is controllable and predictable. My wife really likes it; she always feels like she's in control of the bike. For climbing steep hills, the 36V battery is not as good as the 48V battery on my ebike. But my wife absolutely loves the bike! She was hesitant to ride it, but after a few exploratory rides, she's now always up for a bike ride. The bike is great for riding. The pedal assist mode allows you to decide how much energy you want to put into the ride. You can set your gears so you are just pedaling (without pushing hard on the pedals) and the bike will provide all the power for you to cruise at the PAS speed. Or you can set the gears so you push a little to maintain the PAS speed. If you wish, you can even provide most of the power for cruising. It's all up to you.The fenders and bike rack are sturdy and well-made. The combined tail light/brake light is a very nice touch.I think this is a great bike for the money. I'm really glad I bought it.Note: The description says it's a 500 W motor. But the manual says it's 350 W, and the motor says it's 350 W as well. That explains the lower speed going up hill. But I'm still glad I bought it.
Great bike for the price. Build quality is good(welds, paint, details). Easy to assemble. Ride is smooth. Easy to figure out the controls. Has enough power to pull myself(185lbs) and my daughter sitting behind me(80lbs) up to 22mph. battery came 75% charged. Can't tell how good the battery life is as we just got the bike. So far we are very happy. This bike has a lot of positive reviews on youtube too.
I absolutely love this bike. I have an injury to my ankle and it is difficult for me to exercise but now that I have my bike, I can ride without any pain. I love the way it looks, it’s very sporty and I really like the removable battery built into the frame. The power is incredible, it will exceed 21 mph in the highest mode. It also has all the bells and whistles such as a digital display, headlight, taillight, drink holder and even a cute little bell. I ordered another E-bike before this one that I had to sell because it was too big for me. I bought this one because of its size (26”) and is a step through. I highly recommend this bike it’s a great price and you will not be disappointed.
I'm very happy with this bike. It was delivered fast , had all the parts , installed easily, and rides great ! It is my 1st E-Bike and now I'm hooked on ebikes. I think it is worth the money for what you get.
BIKE IS PACKAGED GREAT. THE QUALITY IS OUTSTANDING BOTH IN MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICALLY. IT LOOKS EVEN BETTER IN PERSON. IT IS QUIET,SMOOTH AND HAS PLENTY OF POWER . FOR MY WIFE IT WAS TOO FAST SO I ADJUSTED THE MAX SPEED DOWN TO 15MPH. BIKE CAN BE ADJUSTED TO GO 25 MPH . I HAD IT THERE ON MY INCLINDED STREET . THE REASON FOR TURNNINGTOP SPEED DOWN IS IF KEPT AT FACTORY 21MPH SETTING THE SPEEDS ARE AS FOLLOWS SETTING 1(10MPH), 2(13MPH), 3(16MPH), 4(19MPH),5(21.5MPH) . THE ONLY WAY TO GET SETTING 1 SLOWER IS TO LOWER MAX SPEED. THIS IS EASY TO CHANGE AS DRIVING CONDITIONS CHANGE. IF DRIVING ON TRAILS SHARED BY PEDESTRIANS 10MPH IS TOO FAST. FOR EVERY 2MPH YOU DECREASE TOP SPEED YOUR LOWEST SETTING WILL DECREASE 1MPH. WEATHER YOU PEDDLE ASSIST OR USE THROTTLE THE SPEED ACHIEVED IS THE SAME. WITH ALL THAT SAID WE HAVE NOT YET TAKEN ON A LONG JOURNEY TO FIND OUT MORE FEATURES. THIS BIKE COULD COST MORE AND YOU WOULD STILL FEEL IT A BARGAIN. DEFINITE GREAT CRAFTSMANSHIP.
There was a slight delay between expected and actual delivery, but both bikes came very well packaged. Assembly instructions were easy to follow and tools to assemble were included. Only snapped one of the wheel reflectors while putting the bikes together. As beginners, the bikes suit our needs perfectly. Haven't ridden them enough yet, but as folks in our sixties, may need to consider replacing the seat with ones a bit cushier. (LOL)
I did a TON of research before getting this bike. Generally, over $350 up to like $1500+ you aren’t getting something much better. But the $350 ones are going to be without guarantee, with expectation they will be replaced relatively early into use (and don’t bother to track their motor miles), and aren’t also just functional bikes. Now, some of the more respected brands have some great deals in 2024, that put this bike win a $200 reach of something like twice the price. I had to buy mine in a short shopping window when I switched from 8 miles in a Jeep to over three on foot in the dark on trucker roads (I do logistics). The headlight is bright and adjustable. The taillight is brake-use reactive as well as always lit when lights turned on (a feature actually even most midrange e bikes don’t come with factory standard. The display is easy to read but not blinding. Changing speeds is easy. The throttle or pedal assist are both great.Lemme talk about the clown pedaling people mention. If you have the motor on, any like half turn or more of the pedals will prompt the motor to kick in and get you up to the speed of the setting you have it on. So if you have it on the lowest of five options and you are at a stop, it will get you up to ten and a half mph pretty quickly. If you are already cruising at twelve mph and have it on the same low 1 setting, then your pedaling won’t cause it to accelerate unless you drop below that speed. This is actually easy to get used to if you switch between off and the settings for the speed you wanna cruise. If you want to have some exercise and/or extend your range (which is actually good on this thing), use the Shimano gears to switch to a higher gear. I find the top gear to be tedious. not strenuous, just tough to find a balance to not “push off” with the pedals hard and grab the booster from a low speed, or to have them be free moving at mid speed for long periods. Like, I have mine at 5 of seven. The throttle action will give you a jump off from a start if you need it, or the boost for the hill. Don’t feel the need to be your own hero, that part really ain’t saving you battery (or knees). Once I learned to let the bike guide my pace, it clicked. I realized I can’t have a solid and steady turn of my pedals on a higher speed where yeah my pedals aren’t turning as fast at the my would without the motor but still have tension to not feel like they are loose and useless distractions on a theme park ride. Bike at a pace that you feel engages you and gives you whatever level of activity you want, at the speed levelSelected to cruise at it, and don’t get hung up on those two things matching what your bike riding learning memory thinks it should be.I really enjoy the ride in this. Easy to list for me (a short woman), nice disc brakes (you will have to adjust these. Look it up on YouTube. Look at the mechanism and squeeze the brakes to see how they work and which way they need to be calibrated before messing with em. Don’t ride without doing that. And enjoy
I am writing to express my 100% satisfaction with the products and customer service provided by ActBest. In January, I purchased two ebikes from them, and the overall experience has been nothing short of exceptional.Firstly, I must commend ActBest for their meticulous packaging. Both bikes arrived in pristine condition, without a single scratch, showing a commitment to ensuring the safe delivery of their products.Upon assembly, I encountered some adjustment issues with the brakes and gears on one of the bikes. However, the support from ActBest was truly outstanding. Their responsiveness was amazing, addressing every query in less than 24 hours. What set them apart was the provision of custom videos guiding me through the adjustment process, demonstrating a commitment to customer education and satisfaction.Despite the thorough support, I encountered persistent issues with the gear adjustment on one of the bikes. ActBest went above and beyond by suggesting that I take the bike to a local bike shop for the necessary adjustments and they covered the 1-hour labor bill for the service. This level of commitment to customer satisfaction is commendable and speaks volumes about the company's dedication to ensuring a positive customer experience. In summary, I fully recommend ActBest to anyone considering purchasing an ebike. Not only do they offer a great product, but their exceptional support and willingness to go the extra mile for their customers sets them apart in the market. My experience with ActBest has been nothing short of excellent, and I am confident that others will find the same level of satisfaction in their products and services.Sincerely,Philip J.
